The Walt Disney Company is trying to change the way kids watch Mickey Mouse cartoons, and they’re doing it with a new channel called Disney Channel Mickey Mouse.
Mickey Mouse is one of the most popular Disney characters on the planet, and the series has been available for ages on cable and satellite channels since 1985.
The channel is launching today, and will include Mickey Mouse videos, animated shorts and clips of the popular character.
The first clip, for instance, will be a Mickey Mouse shorts from the movie A Bigger Splash, featuring a cartoon Mickey Mouse in a park where there’s a giant watermelon.
Other videos will include Disney characters like Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and Goofy, as well as some new creations.
The channel is expected to launch on Disney-owned platforms like Disney Movies Anywhere and Disney XD in the U.S., and on Comcast’s Xfinity and XM channels in the European Union and China.
Disney has long made the Mickey Mouse brand synonymous with the entertainment giant, and Mickey Mouse is the subject of a number of merchandise and other merchandise releases in the series.
The company has released a range of merchandise inspired by the animated series, including T-shirts, hoodies, hats, mugs and pins.
The Disney Channel series has had a number, of course, of hits over the years.
The series has spawned dozens of animated shorts, including “The Story of Mickey Mouse,” which was released in 2000.
The next Mickey Mouse movie, “Mickey & Friends,” was released last year.
And a short-lived TV show, “Disney’s Mickey & Friends: The Adventure of Mickey,” was made in 2012.
The Disney Channel has also produced several short films featuring characters from the series, most notably the “Mickeys Mouse Party” short.
In 2016, Disney announced that it was planning to launch a Mickey Disney Channel-branded TV show that would feature animated shorts.
The program would premiere in 2019.
